St John's Lower Primary School Palavayal. St. John’s School was established in 1951 as a lower primary school in Palavayal. This was upgraded to an upper primary school in 1957 and to a high school in 1967. This was the only school in the area for a very long time and the school played a pivotal role in the educational and cultural growth of people in Palavayal and Pulingome villages.
