Miracle of Mother Mary - Balal
A Miracle of Oil and Honey flowing out from the Sculpture of Our Lady in Balal
This phenomena started from 3rd December, 2014 and still this miracle exists. This statue of Our Lady is in the house of Mrs. Omana, which is Balal, Kasaragod district Kerala. From this statue honey and oil comes out now and a good number of people pay visit to her house daily from every nook and corner world irrespective caste color and creed to obtain blessing of mother Mary and to witness this miracle
In November 18, 2014 Omana was bed ridden due to an illness affecting the marrow. She had terrible pain and swelling all over the body and so was taking rest. Suddenly she heard someone calling from outside and when she looked outside saw an old lady with the traditional attire of Syrian Christian women (chatta and mundu) in Kerala. The woman inquired Omana’s well-being and asked her whether she had any oil or ointment for a massage. Omana brought a bottle of oil she had and the old lady took some oil and applied it on the body of Omana and instantly she felt a freshness and relief. Omana inquired why had she come to her house and the lady replied that she was collecting offerings from the houses. Then Mrs. Omana entered the house, put back the oil bottle and collected few coins for the lady and returned to the door but to her surprise the old lady was not fond anywhere around there. Then itself she went around neighbors’ house and enquired them about this old women however no one could give any information regarding this incident. At the same time, Omana found that she was cured from all her ailments.
The parish priest of Balal Fr. Bosco Purathemutukaattil had visited her house early on the same day to pray for her cure. She informed him of what has happened to her and how was she cured. She was healthy again and started to go for work. She strongly believed that Mother Mary had visited her in the disguise of old lady and freed her from all here ailments. She used to place the bottle of oil in front of the statue of Mother Mary and pray every day. On December 2, 2014 as Omana was praying early in the morning, she saw the oil spilling out from the bottle. She informed her neighbors about it and they collected the oils in their bottles. However, after a few hours the bottle was filled with oil again and started to spill. Omana lives in a house built by the help of the parish. These days her small house is crowded with people early in the morning. They come there for praying, reciting rosary and to collect sacred oil. The bottle fills itself with oil and no matter of the amounts of the oil taken away. Many people are cured by praying here and applying the sacred oil.
Bishop of Thalaseery Rev. Mon. George Njaralakkattu and priests made special prayers here. The concerned authority has strictly warned the pilgrim not to give any offering or money. Thousands of people visit the place every day.

കാസർഗോഡ്‌ ജില്ലയിലെ വെള്ളരിക്കുണ്ടിനു സമീപം ബളാല്‍ രജിസ്ട്രേഷന്‍ ഓഫീസിനെതിര്‍ വശത്തു താമസിക്കുന്ന ഓമനയുടെ വീട്ടില്‍ പരിശുദ്ധ കന്യകാ മറിയത്തിൻ തിരുസ്വരുപത്തിൽ നിന്ന് തേനും എണ്ണയും വന്നു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത് തുടരുകയാണ്. ലോകത്തിന്റ്റെ വിവിത ഭാഗങ്ങളി ൽ നിന്നുമായി നാനാ ജാതി മതസ്ഥർ ദിവസവും വന്നു അനുഗ്രഹങ്ങൾ പ്രാപിക്കുന്നു .
2014 നവംബർ മാസം 18 ന് ഉച്ചയ്ക്ക് ശേഷം ഓമന വീട്ടിനുളളില്‍ മജ്ജസംഭന്ധമായ രോഗത്തെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് ശരീരം മുഴുവന്‍ നീരും വേദനയുമായി കിടപ്പിലായിരുന്നു.രോഗബാധിത ആയി കിടക്കുകയായിരുന്ന ഓമന പുറത്തുനിന്നും ആരോ വിളിക്കുന്ന ശബ്ദം കേട്ട് പുറത്തിറങ്ങിവന്നപ്പോള്‍ ചട്ടയും മുണ്ടും ധരിച്ച ഒരു വൃദ്ധ വാതുക്കല്‍ നില്‍ക്കുന്നതാണ് കണ്ടത്. തന്നെ കണ്ടപ്പോള്‍ രോഗ വിവരങ്ങള്‍ ചോദിക്കുകയും കുഴമ്പോഎണ്ണയോ എന്തെങ്കിലുമുണ്ടങ്കില്‍ എടുത്തു കൊണ്ടു വരാന്‍ പറയുകയും ചെയ്തു. വീട്ടില്‍ മുമ്പ് വാങ്ങിവെച്ചിരുന്ന എണ്ണയുടെ കുപ്പി വൃദ്ധയുടെ കൈയില്‍ കൊടുത്തപ്പോള്‍ അതില്‍ നിന്ന് കുറെച്ച് എടുത്ത് തന്റെ ശരീരത്തില്‍ പുരട്ടി ആ സമയം തനിക്കൊരു ഉന്മേഷം ഉണ്ടാവുകയായിരുന്നു എന്ന് ഓമന പറഞ്ഞു. എന്തിനാണ് വന്നതെന്ന് വ്യദ്ധയോട് അന്യേഷിച്ചപ്പോള്‍ നേര്‍ച്ചക്കായി വന്നതാണെന്ന് പറഞ്ഞു. എണ്ണയുടെ കുപ്പി അകത്തുവെച്ച് പൈസയുമായി പുറത്തു വന്നപ്പോള്‍ വ്യദ്ധയെ അവിടെ കാണാന്‍ കഴിഞ്ഞില്ലാ.
അയല്‍ വീട്ടില്‍ പോയി അന്യേഷിച്ചെങ്കിലും വൃദ്ധയെ കണ്ടെത്താനായില്ല.
അന്നേ ദിവസം രാവിലെ തന്റെ രോഗ സൗഖ്യത്തിന് പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥന നടത്തിയ ബളാല്‍ പളളി വികാരി ഫാ.ബോസ്‌കോ പുറത്തെമുതുക്കാട്ടിലിനെ ചെന്നു കണ്ട് രോഗം മാറിയെന്നും നടന്ന സംഭവങ്ങള്‍ വിവരിക്കുകയും ചെയ്തു. ആരോഗ്യവതിയായ ഓമന പിന്നീട് ജോലിക്കു പോകുവാന്‍ തുടങ്ങി തനിക്ക് രോഗ സൗഖ്യം നല്‍കിയത് മാതാവാണെന്ന് ഉറച്ച് വിശ്വസിച്ച ഓമന എണ്ണയുടെ കുപ്പി മാതാവിന്റെ രൂപത്തിനു മുന്‍പില്‍ വെച്ച് പ്രാര്‍ത്തിക്കുക പതിവായിരുന്നു. 2014 ഡിസംബർ 2 ന് പുലര്‍ച്ചെ എഴുന്നേറ്റ് തിരികത്തിച്ച് പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിച്ചു കൊണ്ടിരിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ തന്റെ മുമ്പിലുണ്ടായിരുന്ന എണ്ണ കുപ്പിയില്‍ നിന്നും നിറഞ്ഞു തുളുമ്പുന്നതായി കാണുകയും പരിസരവാസികളെ വിവരമറിയിച്ചതിനെ തുടര്‍ന്ന് വന്നവര്‍ കുപ്പിയിലെ എണ്ണ മറ്റൊരു കുപ്പിയിലേക്ക് പകര്‍ന്നുകൊണ്ടുപോയി. എന്നാല്‍ മണിക്കൂറുകള്‍ക്കുള്ളില്‍ വീണ്ടും കുപ്പിയില്‍ എണ്ണ നിറഞ്ഞ് പുറത്തേക്ക് ഒഴുകിത്തുടങ്ങി. പാവപ്പെട്ട കുടുംബത്തിന് ബളാല്‍ പള്ളി അധികൃതര്‍ നിര്‍മ്മിച്ചു നല്‍കിയ കൊച്ചു വീട്ടിലാണ് ഇപ്പോള്‍ താമസം. സന്ദര്‍ശകര്‍ നേര്‍ച്ച കാഴ്ചകളോ പണമോ നല്‍കുന്നത് പള്ളി അധികൃതര്‍ കര്‍ശനമായി വിലക്കിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. പുലര്‍ച്ചെ അഞ്ചു മണിക്കു തന്നെ ആളുകള്‍ എത്തിത്തുടങ്ങും. പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനകള്‍ക്കും മാതാവിന്റെ അല്‍ഭുത എണ്ണ അല്‍പം സ്വന്തമാക്കുന്നതിനുമായി. എത്ര എടുത്താലും വീണ്ടും കുപ്പിയില്‍ എണ്ണ നിറയുകയാണ്. അല്‍ഭുത എണ്ണ പുരട്ടി പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥിച്ച പലര്‍ക്കും രോഗശാന്തി ലഭിച്ചതോടെ വൻ ജനാവലിയാണ് എവിടേക്ക് പ്രവഹിക്കുന്നത് .
തലശേരി അതിരൂപതാ ബിഷപ് മാര്‍ ജോര്‍ജ് ഞരളക്കാട്ടും വൈദികരും എത്തി ഇവിടെ പ്രത്യേക പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനകള്‍ നടത്തി. വിശ്വാസികള്‍ നൂറുകണക്കിനാണ് എത്തുന്നത്. കൊന്ത ചൊല്ലിയും പ്രാര്‍ത്ഥനകള്‍ നടത്തിയും എപ്പോഴും ഭക്തിയുടെ നിറവിലാണ് ഈ കൊച്ചു വീടിപ്പോള്‍. ബളാല്‍ മാതാവിന്റെ ഭവനം സ്ഥിതി ചെയ്യുന്നത് കാസര്ഗോേഡ്‌ ജില്ലയിലെ മലയോര താലൂക്ക് ആയ വെള്ളരികുണ്ടിനു അടുത്തുള്ള ബളാല്‍ എന്ന കൊച്ചു ഗ്രാമത്തില്‍ ആണ്.
